At this event, collaborators presented their current research programs to faculty and students in an informal conference setting where ideas were shared, and new student projects were designed.

One of the primary goals of the workshop was to align the research projects with introductory biology course outlines. This alignment will help curriculum designers begin to write new case studies and laboratory activities that can be integrated into biology coursework.
